Easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Ingredients: | Butter, softened | 250 ml | (1 cup) |
Brown sugar, packed | 175 ml | (3/4 up) | |
Sugar | 175 ml | (3/4 cup) | |
Vanilla | 5 ml | (1 tsp) | |
Eggs, beaten | 2 | ||
All-purpose flour | 550 ml | (2 1/4 cups) | |
Baking soda | 5 ml | (1 tsp) | |
Salt | 5 ml | (1 tsp) | |
Nuts (optional) | 250 ml | (1 cup) | |
Chocolate chips, semi-sweet | 340 g | (12 oz) |
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar and sugar with an electric mixer until it becomes creamy.
- Add the beaten eggs and vanilla and mix well.
- Add the flour, baking soda, salt, nuts and chocolate chips. Mix well.
- Using a spoon, drop about 15 ml (1 Tbsp) of dough onto a baking sheet. Make sure to leave about 5 cm (2 inches) between the drops of dough.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. The cookies should be golden brown.
Make sure to let them cool off a little before eating them!!!
